Christmas Eve Gathering

We have a lovely gathering during the night of Christmas Eve in my in-laws house, they have invited the church members and my family for the gathering. The foods are absolutely great and everyone enjoyed it very much.

First off, we have our normal barbeque food such as salad, grill chicken, hot dogs, some local delicacies and etc... But one of the highlight was a dish prepared by my in-laws called "Paella" Yes, it's called Paella... and I'm pretty sure that's how it spelled :D At first I thought is some kind of Indian food but my in-laws said it was actually a Spanish dish...

If you did not click on the link above, here's what Wiki explained about Paella
Paella is a typical Valencian rice dish, traditionally eaten on Sundays. The name paella is the word for "frying pan" in Valencian (from Latin patella).

Paella is usually garnished with vegetables and meat or seafood. The three main ingredients are rice, saffron, and olive oil.

Well here's some pictures that will speak for themselves :D

The cooks are preparing the food, don't worry, their nose are clean ;)

Holiday In Pangkor Island

It's the time to take some break after been working for so long without taking any annual leave... I have never been to Pangkor, heck I've never been to most places in Malaysia! The place is generally very nice and peaceful because it's secluded from the public...

We (me and my wife) stayed at Pangkor Island Beach Resort and the package included breakfast and dinner, pretty good deal if you ask me :)

Here's some photos taken to share with you guys, enjoy!

A group of musician welcome the guest as we arrive

Garden View Room <-- Far away from beach, facing the front side of the resort with nice garden and lake setup

Pacific Wing Room <-- Very near beach and secluded from main area of the resort

Ocean Wing <-- Nice view of ocean

Villas <-- Far away from the rest and located very near the beach

Hornbill is everywhere nearby the resort if you look for it carefully

Bar and Snack stop in the middle of swimming pool with vomit blood price tag :P
